I Bit The Dust
My marraige functions went on for 4 days..
1st being the cocktail party where we all got drunk, 2nd being the Sangeet which was a punjabi village theme so all the men were dressed in dhoti kurtas and women in that typical punjabi lungi and kurta,3rd the wedding which went on till 6 in the morning and I was tired carrying the 8 kilo lehenga which I was wearing and finally the 4th the reception where we greeted people for 3 and a half hours without sitting and jaws aching by the time we finished.
Whoever said that getting married is so much fun obviously didn't get married the Hindu way. By the time we were done after 4 days, we were EXHAUSTED!
Still, the saga didn't end, infact it had only begun. Then came the series of dinners and lunches where close relatives would decide to feed you with their own hands if you were hesitant of taking a 3rd helping.
All in all, the series went well, and now after nearly 3 and a half weeks of our marraige we are prepared to take off on a 18 day trip to the UK.
Will post more pics of the events when they arrive, however, posting one of what I got my hands on.

The Wedding- The outfit that I am wearing is 8 kilos!!
