Movie Marathon!
Watched 2 movies back to back....Don't ask why.
So the first one was Bhool Bhulaiya...good to see that Priyadarshan still has it in him to make a decent movie . After good flicks like Viraasat and Hera Pheri, I thought he got a little over creative or rather reached a point where he went absolutely blank.
Bhool Bhulaiya is an interesting thriller. Vidya Balan's performance as Avni, Shiney Ahuja as Siddharth, Akshay Kumar as Aditya. All the roles keep you guessing till the last half n hour.
The second one was Laga Chunri Mein Daag. Pradeep Sarakar again potrays' women to emerge as the super heroes or rather heroines.. Enjoyed this one but in a very different manner. Though majority of the people who have watched it don't like it too much. However, very well shot, executed and thought of. The bond of the 2 sisters is what any girl, who are lucky to have sisters, will be able to relate to. And finally theyhave shown a 'normal' mother . A mother who does make mistakes, a mother who repents her wrong decisions, a mother who is helpless and a mother who sometimes, like human beings, does not have the answer to all the problems in the world. Jaya Bachchan has done full justice to her character as that mother.
