Kitty Party- Pretty Tarty

On constant persuasion by my mother-n-law i agreed to attend one of her kitty parties...

I attended a typical Indian kitty party where all the women had already made groups where they thought that bitching was at it's prime and juciest level.

Then after a while it was time to have the jewellery competition...whose is the best amongst all..so the game began...the game was played one by one,having each woman to give a small introduction from where she got the piece she is wearing and ofcourse the woman who quoted the highest amount of her jewellery the winner who would gleam in her so-called glory..while the others would just look at each other and pass snide remarks or just save their breath and role their eyes in maybe jealousy....oh yea,did I mention that the lady would get bonus points if she stated that she was gifted the set by her husband for no occassion..

So after the game gets over, there is some stupid conversations which I didn't pay attention to..and then the food was served where all the women just sat and ate and continued the conversation ..and after the lunch got over...that's it.

it was done..that was a kitty party..which is absolutely meaningless,a gossip mongers block and a complete waste of time.

I don't know how they do it.. I just don't.

Haven't been posting for quite sometime now... maybe because there isn't anything to post about.

The only thing I'm looking forward to is my one month holiday to Dubai in June...will be able to catch up with all my friends, folks and party like a single again as the husband won't be coming as he is busy with the business....

Yea, guess that will keep me going on for the rest of this month.
